# 21 Mar – 27 Mar Chainlink contract update

I’m going to begin this weeks contract roundup with an excerpt from a [blog post](https://www.publish0x.com/chainlink-the-don-of-cryptocurrency/chainlink-x-polkadot-ecosystem-integration-xnqpolj).

“Chainlink is set to become the **first and primary** oracle provider for all [Substrate](https://substrate.dev/)-based chains and eventually the entire Polkadot network.”

This was followed by

“Chainlink has completed an initial integration with a Substrate-based blockchain, marking a major milestone in the mission to bring Chainlink’s market-leading network of decentralized oracles to the Substrate chain ecosystem and Polkadot. **This is the first blockchain ecosystem outside of Ethereum that Chainlink will support.**  **”**

I’m really looking forward to seeing these contracts up and running in the near future.

There were a slew of new, high profile contracts created this week. The GOOGL / USD, AAPL / USD, AMZN / USD, NFLX / USD price feeds appear to be related to Synthetix [SIP 114: Adding FAANG Synths](https://sips.synthetix.io/sips/sip-114).

What Are FAANG Stocks?

In finance, “FAANG” is an acronym that refers to the stocks of five prominent American technology companies: Facebook (FB), Amazon (AMZN), Apple (AAPL), Netflix (NFLX); and Alphabet (GOOG) (formerly known as Google).

So, we are just missing Facebook for a FAANG full house. Chainlink?

In addition to the FAANG price feeds, the team also created an FXS / USD price feed. FXS - [Frax Share](https://frax.finance/)

Chainlink were also busy on the OCR contract front, creating a total of 19 new feeds.
